Holiday Family Fun in Las Vegas: Pickleball, Parades, & More!

Although Las Vegas offers plenty of events year-round, as the holiday season approaches, the number and frequency of events increase dramatically. From Las Vegas pickleball tournaments to light displays, parades, and more, here are some of the family fun available to enjoy this year in the Las Vegas area.

2023 Holiday Parades

Nov 17 – Dec 16 – Every Friday and Saturday evening until December 16th, the City of Summerlin hosts its annual holiday parade, starting at 6:00 PM on Park Centre Drive.
Dec 1 – Starting at 6:30 PM, the Winterfest Parade in Henderson will be held at Water Street Plaza, 240 South Water Street.
Dec 1 – Starting at 7:00 PM, North Las Vegas will be holding its Gardiner Parade of Lights on Water Street.

Holiday Lights & More

Nov 24 – Dec 30 – Located at the Las Vegas Ball Park, Enchant Christmas is an immersive holiday light show that has a varying schedule with tickets that start at $30. Space is limited for each performance, so book early.
Nov 9 – Jan 7 – Glittering Lights is a drive-through holiday light show at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tickets start at $20, and the display is open from 4:45 through 9 PM Monday through Thursday and 4:45 through 10 PM on the weekends.
Nov 3 – Dec 31 – The Holiday Cactus Garden at Ethel M Chocolate Factory features a nontraditional holiday light show with creatively decorated yuccas, prickly pear, barrel cactus, and more, as well as a variety of hot chocolate, cookies, cupcakes, and other treats available. The cost is $1 per person to browse the cactus garden and enjoy the light show.

Las Vegas Pickleball Tournaments

Dec 1 – Dec 3 – The WPT Las Vegas Challenger will be held at Sunset Park Pickleball Complex, 2601 E Sunset, Las Vegas, Nevada 89120. Registration is $80.
Dec 14 – Dec 17 – Duel in the Las Vegas Desert will be held at the Sunset Regional Park Pickleball Complex, 2601 E Sunset, Las Vegas, NV 89120. Registration is $45 and must be completed by December 2, 2023.
Dec 14 – Dec 17 – The PPA Tour at Mandalay Bay will be held at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Registration is open from September 1 through December 7 and costs $95.
